«Первенцы» автомобильного отдела
Формально, бренд тогда именовался Toyoda. Привычная для нас название Тойота появилось позже. Первыми разработками марки стали небольшая легковушка A1 и грузовик G1. На основе них в 1936 году стартует серийный выпуск моделей AA и AB (различались только по типу кузова) и грузового AG. В этом же году Кииширо получил заказ на экспорт из Северного Китая. Китайцев очень заинтересовали грузовика AG.
The Cedric is a mid-size car, the result of a huge effort by the company. It represented the embodiment of the latest Japanese technology of the time. In September 1963, the start of production of the second generation Skyline was announced, and in November 1963 the car appeared on the Japanese market. This model has gained fame as a small, comfortable family car, simple and reliable to drive and maintain.
Die von Käufern in Japan anerkannte Marke Datsun ist zum Synonym für hochwertige Kleinwagen geworden. Der Motorisierungsprozess setzte seinen Siegeszug auf dem japanischen Markt fort, und im August 1958 brachte Nissan das High-End-Auto Datsun Bluebird auf den Markt, das für den persönlichen Gebrauch entwickelt wurde.
