In 1919, another company was born, which later joined the slender ranks united by the Nissan corporation - it was Jitsuyo Jidosha Co., Ltd, which produced exclusive models of three-wheeled cars. These cars for the company were developed by engineer William Gorham, an American. Jitsuyo Jidosha Co., Ltd developed well in the Japanese market, it offered not only three-wheeled cars, but also spare parts for them, materials for their production, sold new technologies, tools, being successful at that time and rapidly developing in the automotive industry market.
In 1926 there was a rather unexpected but very promising merger between Jitsuyo Jidosha Co., Ltd and Kwaishinsha Co. The new company was named Dat Jidosha Seizo Co.

В 1999 году 7 основных японских заводов и группа, отвечающая за планирование и исследование продукта, получили сертификационный документ ISO 14001 за использование систем, сохраняющих окружающую среду.
1983 begann Nissan Motor Iberica, SA mit der Produktion des Geländewagens Patrol (Safari), der 1984 die Rallye Paris-Dakar gewann.
1986 erweiterte Nissan sein 4×4-Sortiment um den brandneuen Nissan Terrano, um auf den wachsenden Bedarf an familienfreundlichen Autos zu reagieren und diese Marktposition bis heute zu behaupten.
